Dear beloved brothers and sisters
May the peace of the risen Lord be with you. I was so busy these days as in our place there were thousand of pilgrims come to participate the Holy Mass and Stations of the cross. I learned that people are more willing to search happiness by fulfilling their spiritual needs. It seems that many of them are aware of their needs, which can be filled by the graces of the Lord.
No matter how hot and how painful to go on the stations of the cross they just do with smiles. It was at 2:00 a very hot hight time, but they still go on with umbrellas and caps, some still carrying their babies, some carrying their paryer books and so and on. I noticed that there were groups also do extra penance just like coming at mid night or early in the morning at 2:00 AM or 3:00AM. I was really encouraged to see people practicing panance and fasting. Some use their kneels to walk, with amazement i looked at them. They still feel joy in their heart and still moving forward. It's very obvious that they love Jesus and want to share the passion of christ in their hearts.
After Black Saturday there is no more pilgrim but we still have to keep things in order which we used during Holy week. I helped the community by installing electric wires and bulbs where is needed. All of us were tired and exhausted. On the other side when we see people visiting our place to express their devotions to Our Lord we feel so glad. Sleepless nights can be covered by the grace because we helped people by borrowing the books of the Stations of the Cross.
